About the Role

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and committedTeaching Assistant to join our team. This role will involve supporting childrenacross the classroom, working closely with the class teacher and wider schoolstaff to deliver high-quality learning experiences and ensure all children arefully supported.

Whether you are supporting the whole class, working withsmall groups, or delivering 1:1 support for children with additional needs,your role will be crucial in helping every child feel safe, happy, and able toachieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

Grade 2

  • Support pupils during teacher-led activities, encouraging independence and active participation.
  • Prepare and maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, including assisting with displays and resources.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support children's social development during learning and break times.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and families to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality, uphold safeguarding procedures, and model the school's values in all interactions.

  • An individual with a good level of literacy and numeracy, who is able to follow teacher direction and support learning confidently.

  • Someone who understands the importance of safeguarding and wellbeing in a school setting.
