Billy Winter’s Bar & Diner is searching for an experienced Sous Chef to join our vibrant beachside team as our current, long standing sous chef is moving into a different role within the company. Located right on the shores of Portland Harbour, we are a thriving beach bar & diner known for fresh local produce, seafood, and a street-food–inspired menu.

We’re looking for a talented chef with a proven track record in a similar role—someone who can lead by example, maintain high standards, and bring passion and creativity to our kitchen.

As Sous Chef, you will:

  • Oversee and manage daily kitchen operations
  • Maintain consistency through portion control and waste management
  • Plan resources, including rota management, deals, event offerings and menu changes
  • Support and develop the kitchen team to deliver outstanding service

A passion for local ingredients, fresh seasonal produce and seafood is essential, along with strong organisational skills and experience working in a high-pressure environment.
