About the Role Welcome to Splash Waterworld, one of the most vibrant and exhilarating spots on our resort! Here, you'll find thrilling flumes, high-speed slides, and a variety of swimming zones filled with guests enjoying their time. As a Lifeguard, you'll be at the heart of the action. Your role goes beyond just monitoring the pool; you'll ensure that every guest has an unforgettable experience while keeping safety a top priority. Whether you're supervising the slides, watching over the wave pool, or leading poolside activities, you'll be creating lasting memories and building genuine connections with our guests.
At Butlin’s, every day is unique. From welcoming families during school holidays to hosting guests at our adult-only Big Weekenders, you'll be part of a dynamic team that keeps the fun flowing all year round.

About You
We're on the lookout for energetic, responsible individuals who thrive in social environments. If you stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and work well in a team, we want to hear from you! This role can be busy and physically demanding, so being alert, active, and ready to dive in is essential.
To join our team, you'll need to:
- Be a strong and confident swimmer
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have excellent awareness and attention to detail
- Be confident in responding to emergency situations
No NPLQ? No problem! If you have the right attitude and strong swimming skills, we'll support you in obtaining your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification before you start.
While previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or a waterpark setting is a plus, we're primarily looking for individuals with the right energy, personality, and passion for guest experience. If this sounds like you, take the plunge and join us!
About Butlin’s
Did you know that Billy Butlin was the first person to introduce dodgems to the UK? Fun is in our DNA, and we've been delighting guests for nearly 90 years! Ask any of our team members, past or present, and they'll tell you that one of the best aspects of working at Butlin’s is our vibrant culture.
As The Home of Entertainment, we go above and beyond to provide our guests with an 'Altogether More Entertaining and Fun Break.' From action-packed family holidays to adult-only Big Weekenders, we bring our three core values to life. If you're looking for a role where you can Create Smiles, aren't afraid to Get Stuck In, and where the team genuinely Cares For Each Other, we think you'll fit right in!
