A precision engineering manufacturer is looking for a highly skilled Fine Limit Sheet Metal Fabricator to produce complex, close-tolerance components for high-integrity applications. This position suits a fabricator with strong experience working to aerospace-level standards, confident in fine limit work, hand fabrication, and high-spec assembly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate fine limit sheet metal components to tight tolerances using a wide range of fabrication equipment.
  • Read and interpret complex technical drawings, engineering data, and geometric tolerances.
  • Carry out precise hand fabrication, forming, bending, rolling, drilling, deburring, fettling, and high-quality finishing.
  • Use manual and powered sheet metal tools such as press brakes, guillotines, folders, shrinkers/stretchers, rollers, etc.
  • Assemble fabricated parts, ensuring dimensional accuracy and excellent cosmetic finish.
  • Set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling to support repeatable, high-precision output.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and ensure all work meets strict aerospace/precision manufacturing standards.
  • Work collaboratively with fabrication, welding, inspection, and engineering teams.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all company quality and safety procedures.

Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Extensive experience in fine limit sheet metal fabrication, ideally within aerospace, defence, motorsport, or high-spec engineering environments.
  • Strong ability to work to tight tolerances and produce complex parts from technical drawings.
  • Skilled in hand fabrication, forming, marking out, cutting, and assembly.
  • Experience operating a variety of fabrication equipment (press brake, folder, guillotine, rollers, etc.).
  • Able to work independently, solve fabrication challenges, and produce parts right-first-time.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing top-quality components.
