What You’ll Do
- Own and execute billups’ global earned media and PR strategy, with a focus on North America, EMEA, and APAC.
- Develop compelling, editorial-quality stories that position billups as a leader in performance-driven OOH.
- Create and write bylined articles, opinion pieces, and feature content for senior leaders (CEO, Founder, regional leadership).
- Prepare executives for media engagements, including interviews, podcasts, panels, and speaking opportunities.
- Identify and secure earned media and podcast opportunities aligned with our strategic priorities.
- Build and maintain a curated journalist and media database by region, developing direct relationships with key reporters and editors.
- Partner with regional teams to surface press- and award-worthy client stories, case studies, and proof points.
- Lead the strategy and execution of awards programs, ensuring submissions reinforce performance, credibility, and impact.
- Act as an internal editorial partner—sharpening narratives, challenging weak angles, and raising the quality bar for external storytelling.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong writer and storyteller with journalistic or editorial experience.
- Proven background in earned media, PR, journalism, or editorial leadership.
- Experience working directly with senior executives and shaping leadership narratives.
- Excellent editorial judgment and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, credible stories.
- Proactive, independent, and comfortable owning work end-to-end across regions and time zones.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with marketing, leadership, and regional teams.
- Excellent command of the English language and high attention to detail.
