Bill’s are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our information technology programme, supporting both the sites and the New Systems and Tech Manager in ensuring the business is market leading in its technology ambitions. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technology infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and alignment with our business goals. You will work alongside operations and commercial finance to manage projects, and collaborate with other departments to implement and maintain effective IT solutions.

The main areas of responsibility for this role will be:

  • Strategic Planning and Development: Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures that support the overall business objectives. Identify opportunities for technology to enhance business processes and gain a competitive advantage.
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, software, and telecommunications systems. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
  • Cybersecurity and Data Protection: Develop and implement security protocols and measures to protect the company's data and IT systems from cyber threats. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Oversee the provision of technical support to end-users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues. Develop and maintain a knowledge base for common IT problems and solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, including software providers, hardware suppliers, and service providers. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of IT failures or disasters.
  • IT Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, systems, and procedures.

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

  • Proven experience - ideally 5 years in IT management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, hardware, software, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage IT projects and teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with budget management and vendor relations.
  • Knowledge of relevant IT regulations and compliance standards.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.

This role will be located at our Head Office, Conway Street in Central London, you must be able to commute to this location, it is an on-site role. We are offering a Salary of up to £55,000, this role has a performance-based bonus at 10%.
