KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Good Knowledge of Menu and Restaurant Layout: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the full menu, promotions, drinks specifications, restaurant layout, and site-specific working practices.
- Take ownership of the floor: Assume responsibility for the floor, showcasing a proactive and dedicated approach to duties. This involves overseeing tasks, managing responsibilities effectively, performing additional duties assigned by the management, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant operations.
- Knowing the bar: Being cross-trained on the bar to provide assistance when needed and support with maintaining high cleaning standards, helping create a flexible working environment.
- Host with the Most: Assisting in welcoming guests to the café and bar, giving that first great impression, setting the tone for their visit.
- Provide Feedback to Managers: Provide feedback to managers regarding guest comments, positive or negative, to enhance overall service quality.
- Follow Allergy Procedures and Legislation Guidelines: Adhere to Bill\’s allergy procedures and legislation guidelines at all times, ensuring the safety of guests with allergies and dietary requirements.
- Stay Informed of Company Updates: Keep informed of all company and restaurant-specific updates by attending meetings or utilizing other communication channels.
- Ensure Cleanliness of Front-of-House Areas: Maintain cleanliness in all front-of-house areas, including guest toilets, to present all indoor and outdoor restaurant areas in the best possible way.
- Learn and Demonstrate Correct Procedures and Safe Working Practices: Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and adherence to correct procedures and operating systems, including staying informed about Bill\’s specific protocols and incorporating safe working practices into daily responsibilities.
- Strictly follow ALL health and safety guidelines: Actively implement health and safety guidelines, demonstrating a strict commitment to prioritizing the well-being of oneself and others in the restaurant, ensuring safety measures are consistently applied.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Team for Workflow Efficiency: Work closely with the team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow through effective communication and cooperation.
- Monitor Food and Drinks Timings and Specifications: Monitor the timing and quality of food and beverages, promptly notifying managers of any issues or concerns.
- Completion of ALL Training requirements: Complete all mandatory and job-specific training, engage in continuous learning, and assist with training new employees as needed.
- Prioritize guest service at all times, following guest service steps, and maintaining a positive attitude with a friendly smile.
- Efficient Opening and Closing Duties: Complete all opening and closing duties meticulously to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.
