About the role:
We are looking to recruit experienced Fabricator Welders, ideally with prior experience of Structural Steel. You will be responsible for:
- Cutting
- Assembling and welding steel components used in the construction of buildings, bridges, industrial plants and other structures
- Transforming raw steel materials into accurate, high quality structural elements that meet engineering drawings specifications and standards.
We have opportunities at both our Barnsley sites, Wombwell – S73 8DS and Shafton – S72 8DS.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Previous experience in steel fabrication.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in welding and metalworking processes.
- Good physical fitness and ability to handle materials.
- Trade qualification in fabrication/welding (preferred but not essential).

Salary: Days: Up to £16.74 per hour (additional £1.00 per hour enhanced rate) + regular overtime Nights: Up to £17.78 per hour (plus shift allowance)
Hours: Night: 46 hours per week, 12-hour days, Monday to Thursday Day: 40 Hours working week 07:15- 16:00 (Monday – Thursday) 07:45-14:00 (Friday)
