The Role – National Account Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

We’re looking for a National Account Manager within the Foodservice sector who will take responsibility for managing some of our existing accounts while also identifying and developing new business opportunities within the sector. This is a hybrid role, involving regular travel to customer sites alongside visits to our manufacturing locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship management – building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers
- Driving account growth, sales and retention – ensuring we understand customer launch cycles and identifying opportunities to drive EPD and NPD
- Reporting and communication – providing clear and detailed communication both internally and externally
- Collaborating across teams – working closely with NPD, Marketing and our Chef team to meet and exceed customer briefs
- System navigation – learning and working within our internal systems
- Account team support – working as part of the team supporting one of our largest pub groups within our Restaurants & New Business channel
- Commercial team collaboration – reporting to one of our Foodservice Commercial Controllers and supporting the wider team during peak periods
- End-to-end account ownership – managing the process from concept through to launch, and maintaining communication throughout the product lifecycle, including stock management, commercial discussions and identifying further growth opportunities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Sales experience (essential)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good computer and organisational skills
Desirable
- Food service experience is advantageous. However, we know it’s about the individual and their approach, so if you’ve sold successfully in another sector we would still love to hear from you.
- Experience within pubs, restaurants, wholesalers and quick service
Working Pattern
This is a home-based role, with an expectation of approximately:
- 2 days working from home
- 3 days visiting customers or company sites
