The Senior Solution Engineer works closely with Sales and customers to position and demonstrate BillingPlatform’s solution throughout the sales cycle. This role focuses on understanding customer business requirements, aligning the platform to those needs, and clearly differentiating BillingPlatform from competitors. The position requires deep knowledge of SaaS billing, quote-to-cash processes, integrations, and technical architecture. The Senior Solution Engineer also partners with internal teams to support and share customer insights and contribute to ongoing product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Enterprise Sales team to develop sales strategy and effectively position the company and solution in sales pursuits.
• Effectively configure and present the BillingPlatform solution to support prospects’ unique requirements.
• Successfully align BillingPlatform with business drivers and clearly differentiate the solution from the competition.
• Develop and demonstrate extensive knowledge of BillingPlatform’s solution, platform, integration capabilities, infrastructure, and security.
• Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
• Partner with Product Management to provide customer feedback and insight to further the BillingPlatform product.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for your team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solution Engineering experience in a high-growth SaaS company selling to commercial and enterprise companies.
• Consultative, credible, and passionate, with excellent presentation skills.
• Understanding of finance, revenue recognition, quote-to-cash processes, and billing.
• Understanding of relational databases, web technologies, and API integrations.

• Ability to travel as required.
