Salaried GP Opportunity

Billinge Medical Practice is seeking a committed and motivated Salaried GP to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a stable, well‑led, and ambitious training practice that has undergone significant positive transformation since December 2023.

We are a 3‑partner practice with a Good CQC rating, exceptional patient feedback, and a clear vision to deliver safe, high‑quality, compassionate care to our community. Billinge Medical Practice is a well‑established NHS practice serving a loyal and appreciative patient population. Since December 2023, the practice has undergone significant positive development, resulting in improved patient experience, strengthened governance, and clear clinical leadership.

You will provide high‑quality General Medical Services in accordance with GMC standards, delivering safe, effective, and patient‑centred care. Responsibilities include:

• Routine and urgent clinical consultations delivered within safely structured clinics
• 15‑minute standard appointment times, supporting safe clinical decision‑making and continuity of care
• Telephone and digital consultations, appropriately allocated within the session structure
• Reviewing results and clinical correspondence with protected administrative time
• Prescribing safely in accordance with national and local guidance
• Contributing to practice clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activity
• Supporting trainees and contributing to the practice’s established training environment

• 15‑minute appointments as standard
• Protected administrative time within each session
• Manageable workload supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team
• Appropriate clinical support from GP Partners and senior clinicians

You will be employed under a BMA‑aligned salaried GP contract, with terms and conditions no less favourable than the BMA model contract.
