As our new IT Manager, you'll help elevate our entire technology experience. You will lead our talented IT Operations team, shaping our software, hardware, infrastructure, and cloud systems to keep our business running smoothly and securely. This position is perfect for a technical expert who loves solving complex puzzles and translates business challenges into smart, practical tech solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide hands-on technology support, taking ownership of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support for software, networks, hardware, and telephony.
- Oversee incident and problem management (both internally and via 3rd parties) to ensure critical systems remain highly available.
- Strictly adhere to and promote company GDPR and information security policies.
- Lead, develop, manage, and coach the IT team to build a high-performing department.
- Identify technology gaps, champion new solutions, and implement continuous improvements to the technology development lifecycle.
- Propose and implement new technologies that align with the company’s broader strategic goals.
- Ensure the resilience, availability, and security of the IT estate in strict compliance with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Cyber and Information Security Manager to identify risks, execute mitigations, and maintain compliance.
- Draft, update, and implement company-wide IT policies and operational procedures.
- Partner with the Transformation team and 3rd-party suppliers to ensure project changes and bug fixes meet SLA requirements.
- Build strong relationships with critical vendors to maximise value, service delivery, and system availability.
You're able to connect easily with stakeholders at all levels and are ready to understand and improve upon our current processes. We're looking for an analytical thinker who has worked in a similar role previously. This is a hybrid position; you'll need to be on-site 3-4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturday (9am - 4pm) on a rota basis.

We focus on customers with non-standard credit profiles that may not fit the automated underwriting processes of other lenders. - Credit Reference Agencies – to complete a soft credit check to understand your financial history.
- CIFAS – to check both National and Internal databases for fraudulent activity.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Basic DBS check to comply with our FCA compliance framework. A satisfactory Basic Disclosure showing no unspent convictions is a prerequisite for this position.
