Are you an inquisitive Data Analytics Manager who can explain complex technical processes to non-technical audiences? Have you previously mentored, managed and guided a team of Analysts? Does the idea of joining a company who are undergoing a genuinely exciting period of change and growth appeal?
We’re now looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join us in a unique opportunity to shape our expanding data analytics function during a period of Transformation and Change. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in driving our data analytics capabilities and will provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions and operational processes. You'll work autonomously to analyse complex datasets, create sophisticated data models, and develop comprehensive insights that not only report on but also actively shape our operational workflows.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead our team of Data Analysts, ensuring that they continue to be motivated and engaged members of the team.
- Own and shape our Data Analytics capabilities including defining processes and ownership of reporting.
- Liaise with the Senior Leadership and Management Team to collate, assure, and publish standard reporting and ad-hoc reports and analysis.
- Deliver proficient analytics and insights to different parts of the business.
- Use the appropriate analytic tool and method to resolve requests and any problems that may arise.
- Direct yourself, and your team, learning to stay informed of emerging data tools.
- Work closely with all internal teams to understand their data and goals to deliver optimal solutions.
- Present and promote your work to the wider business to enable data-informed choices.
- Maintain dashboards and deliver people data to stakeholders across the business, ensuring stakeholder management from conception to completion (ongoing reporting).
- Adopt a never stop learning attitude, and empower and develop others with changes in reporting technology and market trends.
- Work cross-functionally within the business on projects as required to deliver continuous improvement (for example data related Transformation streams).
Your Working Style and Experience:
You’ve a curious, self-driven mindset and are eager to learn and enjoy making an impact. As a natural collaborator, you’ll lead with a proactive mindset and will work cross functionally with the business. You’ll balance quality and speed and will be able to find the balance of detail, with strategic big-picture thinking. You’ll use your experience of developing measurement frameworks to quantify business impacts and strong technical skills including SQL, BigQuery and data visualisation tools. You’re skilled at translating findings into clear recommendations by identifying root causes and if you’ve got experience in product analytics, A/B testing, or metrics analysis, that would be a plus!
