  • Define and embed Data Management best practices across multiple business domains.
  • Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Programme Managers, Architects, and business leaders to improve data quality, governance, and accountability.
  • Ensure programme deliverables align with enterprise Data Management standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Act as the strategic link between the Master Data Management (MDM) programme and wider transformation initiatives.
  • Support the migration of legacy Enterprise Data Warehouse assets into a modern cloud data platform.
  • Drive improvements in data quality, metadata, lineage, stewardship, and business ownership.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to business stakeholders in implementing effective Data Management processes.
  • Identify data risks, remediation opportunities, and governance improvements across critical business domains.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to measure Data Management maturity, adoption, and business outcomes.
  • Represent the Data Management function across programme governance forums and executive stakeholder meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Governance, Security, Risk, and Product teams to deliver trusted enterprise data capabilities.

What you'll need:

  • Experience delivering Data Management across large transformation programmes.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Lineage, and Data Stewardship.
  • Experience working with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA migrations, or large ERP transformation programmes is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting cloud data platform or Enterprise Data Warehouse migrations is advantageous.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to translate business challenges into practical Data Management solutions.
  • Experience working within retail or other large complex organisations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
