We are looking for a commercially astute Lead IT Prourement Manager to join our growing UK Procurement team. This is a strategic role responsible for managing a portfolio of IT-related spend categories, driving sourcing excellence, and delivering commercial value across the business.
You will lead complex negotiations with Tier 1 technology vendors, shape category strategies aligned with IT and business goals, and ensure compliance with regulatory and third-party risk frameworks. This is a stimulating role with the freedom to make real impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across IT categories including data centres, cloud platforms, SaaS, and PaaS.
- Develop and implement, through the use of market intelligence and industry recognised tools, category plans with internal stakeholders that ensures within the role holder\’s category of responsibility will provide best long-term value for Experian
- Lead high-value contract negotiations with global technology vendors and managed service providers.
- Ensure all savings opportunities are exploited to full effect by negotiating commercial, legal and operational requirements, ensuring maximum value and cost down impact on Experian\’s EBIT.
- Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to align procurement with enterprise objectives, by Influencing, challenging and engaging to gain stakeholder buy-in to new ideas by articulating the benefits of change.
- Drive cost optimisation and innovation through supplier collaboration and market intelligence.
- Advise and recommend the appropriate \”make v buy\” commercial strategy alongside finance to ensure that services are sourced.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, TPRM frameworks, and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2).

Experience And Skills
- IT Procurement experience required within financial services or regulated organisation.
- Deep track record in strategic sourcing, strong commercial achievements, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle EBS, IronClad).
- CIPS qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of IT markets, trends, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
