We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef ready to step up or an established Senior Sous Chef seeking a new challenge in a high-quality hotel and spa environment. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional food standards across our restaurant, bar, private dining, weddings, and events. This role also comes with the offer of live-in accommodation at the Hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen
  • Lead and inspire the brigade to deliver consistently high standards
  • Ensure excellent food quality, presentation, and portion control
  • Assist with menu development using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Maintain GP targets and manage stock control effectively
  • Uphold food hygiene, health & safety, and COSHH standards
  • Train, mentor, and develop junior team members

About You

  • Proven experience at Sous Chef level within a quality hotel or restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal cuisine
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Level 2/3 Food Hygiene qualification (preferred)
