Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary operations.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, bar, banqueting and room service, and event catering operations.
The ideal candidate will combine creativity with strong commercial awareness, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and profitability.
This is a hands on role, allowing you to ensure the highest standards within the kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and manage the entire kitchen brigade
- Design and develop innovative, seasonal menus aligned with the hotel's brand and guest expectations
- Oversee all food production across restaurant, banqueting, conferences, weddings, and room service
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Manage kitchen budgets, payroll costs, food cost control, stock management, and supplier relationships
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop culinary team members
- Work closely with senior management to drive revenue, guest satisfaction, and brand reputation
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes and exceptional presentation standards
- Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef within a 4-star hotel environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of modern culinary techniques and trends
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume service and large-scale banqueting
- Sound financial acumen and cost control experience
- Level 3 Food Safety certification (or equivalent)
