Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant to join our hotel team.

If you enjoy delivering excellent service, working in a fast-paced environment, and creating memorable experiences for guests, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is part of the breakfast team with shifts starting from 5.30am. Weekend availability needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and drinks to a high standard.
  • Set up and clear tables, ensuring all dining areas are clean and well-presented.
  • Prepare beverages, including tea, coffee, and bar drinks (where applicable).
  • Process payments and operate the till/POS system.
  • Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
  • Assist with breakfast, lunch, dinner, conferences, banquets, and special events as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team to deliver exceptional guest service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a professional appearance.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.
