We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Meetings & Events Sales Manager to join the team at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality sales professional to lead our meetings and events revenue stream and deliver exceptional client experiences from enquiry to execution.
As Meetings & Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising revenue across conference, meeting, and event spaces, managing client relationships, and working closely with operational teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Responsibilities- Proactively sell meetings, conferences, and events to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Manage all enquiries from initial contact through to contract and handover
- Develop strong relationships with corporate, agency, and local business clients
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and function sheets with accuracy and attention to detail
- Conduct site inspections and client show-arounds
- Work closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, and Front Office teams to ensure flawless event delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Maintain accurate records using the hotel's sales and events systems
- Previous experience in meetings and events sales within a hotel environment
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building abilities
