Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all cutlery, crockery, pots and equipment are cleaned to the standard required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ensure that all equipment, cutlery, crockery, pots and glassware is stored safely and allocated to the correct areas ensuring that any breakages are reported.
- Keep all areas of the kitchen and related areas clean and tidy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure cleaning procedures are followed for the cleaning of equipment with the correct chemicals and follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- To ensure any faults or damage to equipment are reported to a senior chef.
- Assist with food deliveries and ensure that food items are stored correctly as per the instruction of the head chef or senior chef.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Implement action on Hygiene Audits in order to enhance the environment and achieve positive consistent results.
