We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR and Payroll Advisor to lead the people and culture function at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational managers, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with our brand values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all HR matters
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
- Support with payroll processing and compliance
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
- Support learning and development initiatives across the hotel
- Oversee payroll processes in liaison with finance
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and retention strategies
About You
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law
- Confident managing employee relations cases independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information
