We're looking for an experienced and confident Bar Supervisor to join the team at the Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves hospitality, leads by example, and knows how to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast‑paced hotel bar environment. As Bar Supervisor, you'll support the Food and Beverage Manager and the Restaurant Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the bar, ensuring high standards of service, presentation, and compliance are met at all times.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate the bar team during service
- Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest queries professionally
- Assist with staff training, rotas, and performance support
- Ensure drinks are prepared and served to brand and quality standards
- Maintain stock control, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures
- Uphold health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Step up to lead shifts in the Food and Beverage and Restaurant Managers absence
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
- Calm, organised, and confident under pressure
