We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR and Payroll Advisor to lead the people and culture function at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting operational managers, driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with our brand values.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all HR matters.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management.
- Support payroll processing and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting.
- Support learning and development initiatives across the hotel.
- Oversee payroll processes in liaison with finance.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and retention strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Confident managing employee relations cases independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Discreet and professional with the ability to handle confidential information.
