Job Description

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who is ready to develop their skills and take the next step in their culinary career within a professional hotel environment.
Working alongside our senior chefs, you will assist in delivering high-quality dishes across the hotel's restaurant, bar, room service, breakfast, banqueting, and events while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the hotel's quality standards.
• Support the Chef de Partie in the day-to-day operation of your designated kitchen section.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation.
• Monitor stock levels within your section and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Minimise food waste by following portion control and storage procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with training and supporting Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver excellent service during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation throughout each shift.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• A passion for producing high-quality food and delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
