Join our team at Billericay Doggie Daycare and play a crucial role in ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our furry guests! As a Doggy Daycare Driver, you will be responsible for transporting dogs to and from our daycare facility, ensuring they have a stress-free and enjoyable journey. You will be an essential part of our team, providing reliable and professional transportation services while prioritising the comfort and safety of our four-legged passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and responsibly transport dogs to and from our daycare facility using our designated company vehicle.
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of the dogs during transportation, including securing them properly and providing a calm and reassuring environment.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of dogs.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the vehicle, including regular cleaning and sanitisation.
- Communicate effectively with the daycare team regarding any specific instructions or concerns for each dog.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or issues that occur during transportation to the management team.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Qualifications:
- Valid manual driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, ensuring safe and responsible driving at all times.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to adhere to pick-up and drop-off schedules.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and well-being during transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and provide a positive experience.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is required.
- Level 3 in Animal Management.
Hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 7.30am – 9.00am & 3.30pm – 5pm (depending on how many dogs being picked up). If you want more hours we can look at some extra driving shifts at our Southend site or pick some more shifts up within the daycare. You will be required to have a Level 3 animal management to do so as per our regulations.
