About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and technically minded

Workpack Engineer to join our project delivery team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining high‑quality workpacks that support safe, efficient, and compliant execution of site activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed workpacks covering scope, materials, drawings, procedures and execution plans.
  • Liaise with engineering, planning, construction, and HSE teams to ensure workpacks are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
  • Review engineering deliverables and translate them into clear, executable work instructions.
  • Ensure all workpacks comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
  • Track progress, update documentation, and support change management processes.
  • Provide technical support during work execution and resolve documentation‑related queries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workpack processes, templates, and workflows.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a Workpack Engineer, Construction Engineer, or similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
  • Familiarity with workpack systems, planning tools, and document management platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple workpacks simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or degree in Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Site‑based experience is advantageous (if relevant to your industry).
  • Valid Safety Passport is required.
