As water technologies experts, we don't just offer jobs – we build careers with purpose. We're on a mission of Ecological Transformation, and we're looking for a dedicated Electrical Assembly Technician to help us lead the charge.

This position is based 100% at our site in Peterborough Service Centre, which is home to a large-scale regeneration facility as well as the base for a fleet of over 100 mobile water treatment units, primarily fixed within trailers and containers.

What you'll be doing:

  • Fabrication, installation, and documentation of electrical systems
  • Working with single-phase, three-phase, low-voltage and extra low voltage electrical circuits
  • Preparation and termination of electrical circuits
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Troubleshooting electrical instrumentation and mechanical equipment and presenting technical solutions to address these issues
  • Configuration of instrumentation
  • Testing electrical systems incorporating PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and relays
  • Commissioning of special build equipment, electrically and mechanically
  • Maintaining the quality of all products, performing incoming and outgoing quality control tests, inspections, and repair of all plant and field equipment
  • Electrical inspection and testing (EIC, EICR and PAT)

Qualifications

  • City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent (mandatory)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience in industrial electrical works
  • Experience wiring and fault finding PLC controlled equipment
  • City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection
