We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs.We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.As a surveyor, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:Collaborate with Construction Managers, engineers, and site supervision to plan and schedule the survey requirements for each tagged item Ensure surveys are carried out in a timely manner to allow release to mechanical tradesEnsure all tagged items to be positioned in accordance with client specifications / tolerancesEnsure QA documentation is signed off when equipment has been positioned in accordance with the aboveCreate dimensional survey reports as requiredAttend Daily Coordination meetings and any other meetings as requiredUse of surveying equipment and associated softwareEstablish / extend a 3D coordinate grid system based on existing reference points.Survey mechanical equipment and provide as build reports detailing design / actual coordinates and deviations. (typically this would be vessel centrelines, supports and various nozzle’s)Surveying of Civil plinths & fixings and provide reports.Aid construction by providing design gridlines & elevations throughout each structure as required.Aid construction during the alignment of equipment / pipework.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, or maintenance, with at least 2 years of setting out, surveying and line and levelling.Qualifications:Relevant trade skillsGood communication skills requiredGood interpersonal skills required as part of a large project teamSuitable IT skills – MS Office, Navis Works 2024Self motivated to achieve client deadlinesCompetent in the use of Total Station and related softwareIf you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246.
