The Completions Engineer plays a vital role in the management of Mechanical Completion, handing over systems from construction to commissioning for handover to the client for start-up of the plant. As Completions Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all relevant acceptance sheets generated by the Fluor Completions System MCPlus for construction activities are maintained and documented, and issued for sign off in line with the completion of the Installation Work Packs issued to the construction teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale mechanical project, ensuring all systems are handed to the client in line with the schedule.
Key Activities
- Collaborate with project Work Pack Engineers to ensure relevant Completions forms are included in the Installation Work Packs (IWPs)
- Ensure the relevant discipline supervisors are aware of and understand Completions requirements in their areas
- Liaise with the QA department to ensure ITPs are prepared for handover
- Maintain the online database provided by the client
- Maintain the master list of approved signatories
- Generate handover mnemonics and certification specific to each IWP
- Assist in the compilation of Handover Certification Packs
- Establish and maintain a Punch List Register
- Attend Daily Coordination meetings and any other meetings as required
Experience, Attributes & Qualifications
- Experience in construction, or maintenance, with at least 2 years with Completions activities
- Relevant trade skills / Completions Systems training
- Good communication skills required
- Good interpersonal skills required as part of a large project team
- Suitable IT skills – MS Office, databases
- Self-motivated to achieve client deadlines
