The position holder is employed as an Onshore Integrated Services Inspection Project Engineer and is required to progress their identified job tasks in a diligent and efficient way as directed by the Integrated Services Inspection Focal Point / Integrated Services Inspection Technical Manager across the Inspection contract. This role is responsible for assisting with the coordination and day to day delivery of personnel and equipment on assigned contracts. They will ensure these activities are implemented in a safe and effective manner.
The Individual will carry out these duties in accordance with the company procedures and to the high levels of service expected by the company. The Integrated Services Inspection Project Coordinator will strictly adhere to the company’s principles of independence and impartiality.
- Provide Operational support as required and liaise with both Bilfinger & Client, Onshore & Offshore personnel Inc. Offshore Inspection Teams, Pay Roll, Quality, Commercial, HSEQ, Inspection Training & Competency, Recruitment, HR and HR shared services.
- Assist the Integrated Services Inspection Coordinator, Focal Point and Technical Manager when required.
- Ensure mobilisation requirements of personnel are complete for all requested trips along with plant & equipment required.
- Assist with the engagement of sub-contractor/3rd Parties, as required.
- Liaise with Bilfinger ANDT Team for any requested work scopes.
- Assist with collating and sourcing Inspection equipment required for new scopes.
- Order & monitor Plant/Material/Equipment, including maintaining material trackers, monitoring outward & inward shipping, write off’s & transfers inc. reviewing plant reports to ensure control of both documentation and equipment offshore.
- Communicate with Inspection and Rope Access stores & shipping departments to ensure timely ordering and delivery of equipment.
- Assist with Medivac arrangements as required.
- Assist with the prompt distribution and collection of TLD badges.
- Maintain and verify mobilisations with Inspection rota/P6 manning profile list and update available hours in onboard tracker and flag any discrepancies.
- Submit offshore personnel requisitions and attend weekly recruitment meetings.
- Assist offshore personnel with IT requirements including Requesting IT Equipment, Bilfinger accounts, File Access, BMS accounts, reporting issues.
- Complete CTR’s in a timely manner for any new work scopes and submit to Focal Point/Technical Manager for approval and submitting to client.
- Assist with completion of PR/PO’s as requested.
- Communicate progress, any operational difficulties and the commercial implications of this to the client.
- Ensure invoicing data is correct for labour & plant and checked prior to submission to client. Assist with queries as required.
- Track PO costs to ensure they will not burst. Amended CTRs to be submitted as and when required.
- Assist with the update and completion of both Bilfinger and Client forecasts.
- Write or Review and approve weekly working hours, making sure hours & coding are correct and are processed in line with contract.
- Raise requisitions for recruitment up manning and holiday cover.
- Instigate investigations into PAYE wage queries.
- Review and approve training, expenses and wages payments as required.
- Ensure equipment checks, inspection reports, HSE reports and all relevant documents are received from Offshore in a timely manner.
- Maintain Reporting Quality dashboard and carry out monthly quality checks on reports.
- Carry out Qualification Quality checks on all personnel prior to mobilisation.
- Assist with the Monthly and Quarterly Quality/performance reports inc. Producing S-Curves / Plan Attainment / Non plan Attainment and Break-in detail.
- Process and submission of HR Documentation relating to Releases, sickness, Fit to Return, Paternity, Unpaid/compassionate Leave etc.
- Maintain Offshore holiday rota and process leave requests.
- Assist with investigations/grievances as required.
- Maintain and record appraisal progress as per annual appraisal plan.
- Process Training requests, Trade assessments and qualification checks.
