Bilfinger UK are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us on our Puma project based on Saltend in Hull.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
  • Co-ordination of AFC & internal Rolling Forecasts
  • Provision of information for Monthly Reports
  • Review of EW notifications & BUK responses or notifications downstream & upstream
  • Liaising with Client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
  • Cost Analysis via SAP & Power BI
  • Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
  • Calculation of BOQ star rates
  • Remeasurement of BOQ
  • Update Commercial Registers i. e. CE, EW, Plant, Sales Invoices etc.
  • Drafting of notifications including letters
  • Overseeing of Subcontract Management processes
  • Value analysis– SOR, FP, day works
  • Change Management – Notification, Quotation & Agreement of Compensation Events
  • Payment Application & Invoicing
  • Innovation to improve job margin

Experience Required

  • Knowledge of NAECI Agreement
  • Experience on major Construction Projects
  • NEC4 Option B Contracts
  • Standard Method of Measurement
  • Basic knowledge of P6 programmes
