Our client requires a Multi Skilled Advanced Scaffolder for an approximate period of 24-30 months. You will take on all platform scaffolding operations under guidance from the General Foreman/Scaffold CH. In addition to this and depending on project requirements and or your skill set, you will provide general multi‑task deck support services which may comprise of heli‑deck /ERT and deck operations including cargo & material handling and the additional learning of how to cover stores. This role will be on a 2‑week offshore / 2‑week onshore rotation.
Tasks
- Undertake any multi‑skilled activities as required by platform.
- Ensure that all customer enquiries and demands are followed up and that any anticipated shortfalls are promptly identified.
- Completion of any general, technical and administration duties as required for position. This would include but not limited to scaffolding inspections, registers, fall arrest equipment, shift logs and completion of daily time writing as required, ensuring correct cost code allocation of man hours.
- Ensure all materials required for scopes are identified and made available in good time.
- Ensure that all client expectations are delivered within the timeframes given and to appropriate plan.
- Input to planning of works as required.
- Ensure the most effective use of all plant, equipment and materials.
- Communicating progress and any operational difficulties to the platform GF or Supervisor.
- Ensuring compliance with agreed specifications and produce the highest quality of workmanship.
- Maintaining the condition, quality, quantity and usability of all scaffolding materials and equipment reporting any anomalies as soon as they are discovered.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to high standards at all times at operational worksites.
- Undertake any reasonable task as requested by client that you are trained in or capable of undertaking.
Qualifications and Experience
- Competent and trained in all aspects of scaffolding erection, dismantle, management systems and statutory regulations.
- CISRS Advanced.
- OGUK medical, BOSIET, MIST and CA EBS qualified.
- Working at Height Unit 2 qualified.
Additional Information
- Must be able to gain an ERT P1 & 2 and adhere to clean shaven policy as per client procedures.
- Advantageous to hold HERT/OERTM/Coxswain/Banksman Slinger Level 3 or must be willing to complete additional training as requested for additional platform duties.
- Must be willing to undertake DG by air and sea training to become fully competent in stores for potential cover.
