Bilfinger UK are currently recruiting for an experience Learning & Development Manager, the Learning & Development Manager is responsible for the delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of learning, development, skills and competency initiatives across the UK business.
Managing a small team across 2 Sites, this role owns the UK skills and competency framework for all employees including blue-collar and site personnel, supports bids and tenders from a workforce capability perspective, and represents Bilfinger externally within learning and development networks and industry forums.
The L& D manager Is responsible for the delivery, Co ordination and continuous improvement of learning development, skills and competency initiatives across the UK Business (c. 4000 employees)/ Managing a small team split across 2 main sites this role owns the learning & development strategy and plan and the skills and competency frameworks for all employees - blue collar site and office based.
The role is also integral in supporting bids and tenders from a workforce capability perspective and represents Bilfinger externally in Learning & Development networks and industry forum

- Own and manage UK competency frameworks
- Maintain role profiles, competency matrices and assessment processes
- Support mobilisation centre

- Provide competency reporting.
- Bids, Tenders & Workforce Capability Support
- Support bid and tender submissions with capability data, apprenticeship information, leadership and training programmes, competency assurance processes and social-value commitments.
- Participate in client presentations and audits where required.
- External Representation & Industry Engagement
- Represent Bilfinger at learning and development forums, professional bodies, colleges, universities, apprenticeship networks and industry events.
- Build partnerships and identify best practice, funding and accreditation opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
