Job Overview
Bilfinger UK invites applications for an EC&I Designer located in Warrington. Bilfinger is a leading engineering and maintenance provider supporting customers across the chemical, petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. The role delivers EC&I design deliverables within single or multi‑discipline engineering EPC projects and supports asset management services throughout all lifecycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance and decommissioning.
Responsibilities
- Produce EC&I design deliverables within single or multi‑discipline engineering EPC projects.
- Develop and deliver high‑quality EC&I design drawings in line with project scope and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior EC&I Engineer to ensure design drawings are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining alignment with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process and Automation disciplines.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews as required.
- Understand actionable items from a Deliverable List and consistently deliver output drawings that meet established standards and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Up to 3 years of experience as an EC&I Designer in single / multi‑discipline projects, in an Engineering / EPCM / EPC company.
- Fair grasp of EC&I disciplines with the ability to produce quality EC&I drawings.
- Engineering Apprenticeship or Equivalent (minimum).
- Daily use of AutoCAD to complete design drawings.
- Produce Block Cable Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Layout Diagrams, Instrument Hook‑up Diagrams, Cable routing drawings.
- Result‑oriented; design drawings accepted by the client is the measure of success.
