Industrial Site Electrician, based out of our Haydock Production facility required for multiple national site projects. Working on various sites to carry out all aspects of industrial electrical installation works primarily assisting the MV installation team when required - Carrying out LV panel wiring, assisting with offloading panels/switchgear and carrying out LV/HV testing on switchgear.
Future progression: Training on switchgear will be provided, both via factory authorisations and workplace training, to aid progression to Team Supervisor/Authorised HV Installer.
Key Activities:
- Prepare materials and equipment, then complete modifications to LV control panels on various sites.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine the method and sequence of operations.
- Support the MV installation team with switchgear delivery and positioning when required.
- Carry out termination of buswiring and multicore wiring as part of the MV installation activities.
- Assist in the LV/MV site acceptance testing of MV switchgear.
- Understand and adhere to Risk Assessments/Method Statements.
Must have:
- CCNSG or JIB card for H&S qualification.
- QNVQ in Electrical/Mechanical discipline.
- Full Driving license.
- LV control panel/wiring experience.
Ideal but not essential:
- 1st Aid trained.
- Manual Handling trained.
- Harness user trained.
- Working at height trained.
