The Project Director will be responsible for a project from inception to fruition; will lead on HSE, Quality standards and customer satisfaction. The role will ensure that the project is delivered on time and on budget. In addition, you will take strategic direction from the Vice President whilst holding full accountability and responsibility for the safe delivery of the full life cycle of the project (CAPEX/OPEX) under your control. You will provide leadership and mentoring to direct reports and engineers in your team, sharing knowledge and best practices utilizing previous experience. You must be experienced in assessing contracts, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and be familiar with forms of contract such as NEC3/4 and IChemE. Experience with early works and interaction with design engineering and constructability is key. The role will require you to develop and foster good working relations with the client and internal stakeholders.
Key Activities:
- Manage appropriate resources to ensure the safety of people and the environment is first and foremost in all we do.
- Deliver to the highest quality standards and ensure compliance at all times to our BMS.
- Work with the design, construction & commercial teams to ensure our deliverables are translated into coherent and competitive submissions.
- Establish and deliver key milestones to satisfy client & business requirements.
- Consider, monitor, and take actions on Scope, Time, and Cost to maintain expected outcomes.
- Ensure resources and materials are suitably placed to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Deliver to the highest standard and comply with appropriate regulations.
- Put contingencies in place to deal with changes and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Operate within the governance and guidelines of the company's BMS.
- Own project review meetings with the team to ensure full project transparency and accurate dissemination of information (internal/external).
- Operate within the contract guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience of managing MEICA Projects under people, time and money constraints.
- Experience of managing multi-disciplined Engineers and Project Managers.
- Experience of delivering Fixed price and/or target cost work packages involving multiple discipline trade interfaces.
- Experience of successfully managing change in a term contract environment.
- Exposure to complex commercial frameworks and successful delivery of agreed targets.
- Wide exposure to feed and construction activities across a diverse customer portfolio.
- Management of multiple customer relationships within a defense environment.
- APM PMQ Qualified or equivalent.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS.
- NEC 3 & 4 contracts / IChemE.
- BEng, HND, IOSH, CDM.
