The portfolio covers the entire value chain from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, plant expansion as well as turnarounds and also includes environmental technologies and digital applications. Main Responsibilities

  • Convert approved work orders into work packages (time, resource, material and access requirements, method statement, draft risk assessment and contractor support as required).
  • Prepare the weekly maintenance schedule.
  • Defines the scope of the job and initiates the permit to work process.
  • Prepares work plans, schedules, and maintains these on a database.
  • Prepares cost estimates for jobs.
  • Will deputise (in the short term i.e holiday/sickness cover) for all other Maintenance Technical Planners as the business requires.
  • Implement SHE and Quality policy

Candidates will have at least HNC and/or relevant maintenance and or project planning and scheduling experience. Candidates should have a track record of improving technical competence in their own area of discipline. Other essential behaviours are good communication, flexible approach, self starter and team player.

Microsoft packages and SAP experience preferred but not essential.
