The NDT Project Coordinator is responsible for:
- Supporting the technical delivery of NDT techniques in accordance with company and site procedures.
- Providing technical support to the NDT Technical Authority and Senior Radiation Protection Supervisor.
- Effective planning, organisation and management of NDT inspection activities.
- Conducting site visits to supervise, audit and occasionally support onsite NDT delivery.
- Providing technical support to onsite personnel ensuring efficient delivery of NDT work scopes.
- Providing technical support with respect to the development, validation and implementation of new technology, techniques and procedures.
- Developing an awareness of customer needs and implementing strategies and systems to meet those needs.
- Undertaking additional duties as requested by the Site / Project Manager.
- Development of Workpacks and scope definition ready for handover to supervision for execution.
- Ensuring suitable resources are available and producing look ahead plans based on the fabrication schedule.
- Supporting the site manager.
- Providing admin support to the supervision.
- Proactively looking for blockers to delivery and identifying potential resolutions.
- Conducting pre-job walk downs as required.
- Supporting in the production of RAMS.
