This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To provide technical and engineering team leadershipTo be able to complete all relevant project documentationTo perform highly skilled commissioning testing on instrumentation and control apparatus as per written procedureTo perform commissioning activities on, control circuits, VSD\’s, AHU, level control devices, flow control devices, temperature control devices and pressure control devicesTo supervise and carryout the correct execution of commissioning procedures, for assigned instrument/electrical tasks with guidance from the Project Commissioning EngineerTo be able to read, interpret and work from vendor documentation, project drawings, schematic diagrams and equipment manualsTo analyse work problems and make corrections when required to facilitate the completion of system assignmentsLead the technical and quality requirements on projectsEnsure project adherence to company quality processes and proceduresAllocate tasks to the commissioning test team and monitor progressEstablish positive working relationships with immediate supervision and personnel departmentsAbility to read, understand and follow ALL safe systems of workWorking closely with and supporting the Project Commissioning Engineer, in all aspects of project technical delivery and scope managementEnsure project adherence to company quality processes and proceduresIdentification of project opportunities and variationsTo support the project commissioning team in identifying and managing risks and issuesTo support the project commissioning team in the project delivery strategy development and planningTo provide health and safety leadership by exampleFUNCTION The EC&I Test Team Leader (Commissioning) is normally expected to undertake the following:Undertake or manage site surveys as requiredUndertake or manage Toobox talks within the team as requiredDevelop test specification & design testing methodology with the teamDevelop site work documentation with team input as necessary (risk assessment, method statement, site test documentation)Develop O & M documentation – with input from project team as necessarySupervise full integrated system testing, CFAT, SAT and installation & calibration testing if requiredUndertake or manage observations, variation and reworksQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Previoustechnical experience in the field of Electrical, Instrumentation and ControlPrevious experience of the Nuclear IndustryPrevious experience of supervising a team of Electrical/Instrument techniciansIf you wish to speak to a member of the recruitment team, please contact 01224 246246.
