Highview Power Carrington – LAES Project (FOAK) 50 MW / 300 MWh Liquid Air Energy Storage Facility | Greater Manchester. The project utilises proprietary LAES technology, converting surplus renewable electricity into stored liquid air, with later pressurisation and reheating to drive turbines for electricity generation.
Role: Time Writer / Office Admin Assistant
As a Time Writer / Office Admin Assistant, your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Ensure accurate worked hours and absences are recorded in a timely manner to support site operations and payroll accuracy.
- Enter accurate worked hours and absences into the system on a daily basis.
- Ensure supervisors and sub‑contractor supervisors submit timesheets by the daily deadline.
- Ensure all deadlines for submission of payroll data are achieved.
- Create and maintain a daily record of personnel on site.
- Create and maintain an absence log.
- Forward supporting documentation for absences to the HR department.
- Deal with any pay queries from project personnel.
- Ensure personnel holidays are booked in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in the general administration of the site project office.
- Maintain the blue collar training matrix.
- Maintain the Safety Observation Tracker in preparation for the weekly HSE meeting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi‑task.
- Good computer skills and experience delivering results and meeting client expectations.
