  • Integrate with and oversee mechanical installation activities — boilers, vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, and major plant items — ensuring sequencing aligns with piping scope.
  • Lead pressure testing (hydrostatic and pneumatic) and support pre‑commissioning, signing off ITPs to release systems for commissioning.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors including scaffolders, laggers, painters, heat tracers, and civils.
  • Author and review RAMS for all piping and mechanical installation activities.
  • Chair daily SIMOPS meetings, toolbox talks, and management HSE audits.
  • Liaise with client, design, and planning teams; submit Early Warnings and Variations in line with NEC 4 contract requirements.

  • Demonstrable experience integrating with and overseeing mechanical installation scopes (boilers, vessels, plant items).
  • Strong pressure testing, pre‑commissioning, and ITP sign‑off background.
  • RAMS authoring, NEC 4 contract awareness, and subcontractor management.
  • SMSTS or IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safely; CCNSG; recognised piping/mechanical trade background.
