Bilfinger UK are looking for a Permit To Work Coordinator to join us on the Puma Project based in Saltend, Hull on a permanent staff basis. Mitsubishi Chemicals UK are to build a new production plant adjacent to their existing plant on Saltend Chemicals Park in Hull, named the PUMA project.
As a Permit To Work Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all activities carried out on site have been performed under a valid Permit To Work certificate, with the appropriate isolations in place (if required). You will be site based in the PUMA project PTW office, with visits to site to scope out planned work. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale mechanical project, ensuring the efficiency and safety of all activities taking place on site.
Your activities will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Review Permit To Work Applications and ensure the request is relevant to the work to be performed
- Identify any mechanical, process or E&I isolations that may be required
- Make work site visits to planned activities
- Collaborate with project / construction managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule all work activities
- Coordinate with the procurement / materials team to ensure that resources will be available in time for IWP execution
- Identify potential risks and issues, and proactively address them to avoid delays or safety concerns
- Communicate with other departments to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project timelines, scope, and deliverables
- Attend Daily Coordination and PTW Meetings
