We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work part time in our Ings Store. This can be 2, 3 or 4 days as the individual requires. We have a very busy sales floor and sell some of the best brands in the industry including Specialized, Moustache, Santa Cruz, Open, Mason, Forbidden, Transition, Fox, Assos, Altura and Ohlins. Working with our seasoned sales staff you will be responsible for helping customers make informed choices in our Ings store.
You will be expected to handle queries from customers on a daily basis, hand over new bikes and keep the store looking good. We operate online, via email, via online chat, over the phone, and in person.
About Us: Biketreks is an established cycle retailer in the Lake District. We have 2 stores covering all aspects of cycling from electric hybrids to custom built super bikes and everything in between. We excel in customer service, and have a team of honest and professional salespeople across all our stores. We have won specialist retailer of the year due to our proven concept, and we are evolving year on year with our open minded approach to the industry.
About the role: You’ll be expected to:
- Present customers with factual information to allow them to make an informed decision on any aspect of sales
- Keep the shop floor clean, tidy and filled up
- Hand over new bikes so the ability to use and understand apps is a must
- Answer the phone and emails
- Stay ahead of the curve when it comes to new products and have an open mind when it comes to new concepts and ideas
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills
We have an epos system for all aspects of the business so you must be comfortable using a computer.
About You: We ask that you are polite, considered and able to offer advice based on the policies of the company. We work within a set of standards rather than having a laissez faire approach to business so we won’t suit everyone's approach to retail. You must be a neat and tidy worker.
Benefits, Salary & Hours of Work: We offer the NLW to those 21 years and over. The position is based at Biketreks Ings, Ings Village, Cumbria, LA8 9PY.
