The Role

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily floor operations: coordinating the café to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Manage day-to-day issues across the team, escalating only when necessary and supporting team members
  • Ensure café service is efficient and consistent with Bikesoup’s customer experience goals
  • Support baristas and café assistants during peak times, maintaining high-quality drinks and food presentation.
  • Monitor hygiene, stock levels, and cleanliness in line with food safety standards.
  • Ensure the team always maintains Bikesoup\'s premium customer service standards

Team Development & Supervision

  • Mentor and train junior staff in best practices for customer service, café service, and POS operations.
  • Monitor performance on shift and offer constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Help coordinate shift schedules, breaks, and task delegation to ensure productivity and customer coverage.

Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills coupled with an organized and proactive approach. The ability to lead and motivate others is key to success.
