Due to our recent business expansion we require a competent and experienced Technician. As a multi-franchised main dealer, we offer sales and aftersales on our in-store brands plus workshop service and repairs for all major brands. We operate a very busy and high-turnover workshop conducting service, repair and fast-fit work with a focus on tyre changing, MOT bookings and PDI's.
The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 3 years mechanical experience in the automotive industry and will require a full UK Motorcycle licence. An MOT licence is desirable as this will be essential going forward therefore additional training will be provided if necessary.
You will have the ability to deliver an efficient rate of work while maintaining the highest quality standards at all times, with a comprehensive technical knowledge of motorcycle mechanics. Other essential attributes include: a positive can do attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work as a supportive team member at all times.
In return we offer full manufacturer training via Suzuki and our other leading brands. A Full time position is available on a rotating shift pattern of a 4.5 day working week followed by a 5.5 day week. Working Saturday 9am to 1pm every other Saturday with a half day in the week averaging a 5 day working week.
With other benefits including: 4 weeks holiday per annum plus bank holidays, company pension, personal accident cover, staff purchase scheme applicable to motorcycles, clothing and accessories. The salary will be dependant on motorcycle industry experience and relevant cat 1&2 MOT licence.
Salary snapshot: £26,500.00 > £34,000.00 + Tyre volume bonus (Potential OTE £28,500 > £36,000)
