The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 £ per hour.

We are looking for PSV drivers to join us on a seasonal basis mainly working around our busy times on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during the summer school holidays. This is a fixed-term position running from Thursday 23rd of July to Monday 28th of September, however this may be extended based on the company's needs, or shortened if you have term-time commitments.

Being an Uplift Driver at BikePark Wales offers a great opportunity to join a fun, unique environment that is spent mostly in nature and not on tarmac.

You will be responsible for transporting customers & their bikes to the summit of BikePark as part of our uplift service, ensuring that all procedures are followed on a daily basis and providing an excellent customer service to all our visitors.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Full, Clean British Driving Licence qualified to D1, or D1E or DE (no 101 restriction)
  • PSV CPC driver card (required)

Duties and Responsibilities - Specific:

  • Transport pre-paid customers to the top of the Mountain Bike Trail network on rotation.
  • Ensure Minibus and trailer are in full working order at beginning of shift, including a visual walk around inspection and mechanical inspections as part of the daily defect checks.
  • Report any vehicular mechanical issues with BikePark Wales’ Transport Manager.
  • Ensure that the minibuses and trailers are clean and tidy, and maintain an excellent Company image.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.

Additional Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working as a passenger driver.
  • Familiar with using a digital tachograph.
  • Be organised, honest and reliable.
  • Having a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Comfortable working with members of the public.
  • Should have a confident manner.
  • Must be helpful and polite.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.
  • Be able to adapt to challenging driving conditions.
