About The Role
We are recruiting for a reliable and detail-focused Transport Compliance Clerk to join a busy logistics operation on behalf of a well-known retail client based in Brackmills, Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a respected brand, supporting day-to-day transport compliance and contributing to operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure driver compliance with Working Time Directive and tachograph legislation
- Maintain and update transport records, logs, and reports accurately
- Prepare documentation for internal audits and external inspections
- Communicate effectively with drivers and the transport team to resolve compliance issues
- Ensure fleet documentation (MOTs, servicing records, etc.) is up to date and legally compliant
- Support continuous improvement of transport compliance processes
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a transport compliance or logistics administration role is essential
- Solid understanding of transport regulations and driver hours
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and transport software systems
