HGV 1 DRIVER Required

Role Information

Rapier Employment is currently recruiting for Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a leading retail chain.

The role involves vendor collection work, delivering to stores or between depots, with two to three deliveries per shift. Start times will vary.

All Class 1 drivers must undergo a paid assessment, which includes theory and driving tests. If you are already DHL assessed, you will only need to attend a paid induction day.

Salary and Benefits

• Weekend shifts available (starting June/July 2025 until Christmas)
• £18.06 per hour during the day
• £19.59 per hour at night
• Overtime paid at time and a half

Main shifts are Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.

Requirements

• Class 1 (C+E) license held for over 1 year
• Minimum of 3 months\’ experience as an HGV 1 driver on the road
• No DR10, CD10, IN10 convictions; no more than 6 points on license
• UK Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
• Excellent reversing and maneuvering skills
