CNC Machinist (m/f/d)

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• We are looking for passionate, adaptable, and collaborative people
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating CNC machinery
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Experience of 3 axis milling machining
• Experience of creating job specific fixturing and clampiing
• Ability to edit CNC programmes to suit need if required
• Fanuc experience and experience in machining aluminium preferable
• Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g., Vernier callipers, bore micrometres, DTI gauge)
• Preferably some experience of CAD/CAM systems and some experience with Haas and/or Mazak machines
• Good organizational skills as well as verbal and wirtten communication skills

YOUR TASKS:

• Selection appropriate tooling, setting up and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring a “Right First Time” approach to all tasks and collaborating with the quality team to ensure part conformity and traceability
• Communicating equipment needs with Engineering & Quality managers
• Working continuously on process improvement strategies with Engineering manager/CNC programmer
