About Bijoux De Mimi
Bijoux De Mimi is a UK-based, fast-growing jewellery brand that has scaled organically with no external investment, doubling year on year. Founded by Amelia Hitchcock-Merritt at 18, the business has grown from a small startup into an international direct-to-consumer brand. As we scale across multiple global warehouses and expand our pop-up retail footprint, our operational complexity has skyrocketed. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take the reins of our supply chain and build the robust foundation required for our next phase of global growth.
The Role
This is a high-impact, autonomous role. You will own the operational backbone of the business - we expect this person to operate with confidence and autonomy across the end-to-end supply chain. This role will work closely with the Founder and collaborate with manufacturers and warehouse teams across the UK, EU, and US. This is a hybrid role based in our Chelsea offices, at least 2 days a week. Candidates must be English-speaking and be in commutable distance from our London offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Demand Planning & Inventory Strategy
- End-to-End Forecasting: Own the sales forecasting models for online and pop-up retail, using historical data, marketing calendars, and seasonality to predict stock needs.
- Global Stock Balancing: Strategically allocate inventory across UK, EU, and US warehouses to maximize availability while minimizing overstock and "dead" capital.
- Packaging Management: Forecast and trigger reorders for all branded packaging in line with projected growth.
- Supply Chain & Production Management
- Manufacturer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for jewellery and packaging partners. Place orders, confirm lead times, and hold suppliers accountable to strict deadlines.
- Launch Coordination: Build and manage the master "Launch Calendar," synchronising production timelines with freight schedules and marketing Go-Live dates.
- Quality Assurance: Own the resolution of any production defects or quality failures, implementing corrective actions with suppliers to protect brand integrity.
- Global Logistics & Warehouse Operations
- Freight Ownership: Manage international shipping (via ZenCargo), overseeing collections, customs, and delivery schedules into our global 3PL network.
- 3PL Performance: Monitor warehouse SLAs (receiving speed, dispatch accuracy, and inventory integrity). You are the bridge between our digital storefront and the physical stock.
- System Accuracy: Ensure 100% inventory synchronization between Shopify and various Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Resolve any discrepancies proactively.
- Strategic Support
- Wholesale Activities: Support small-scale wholesale opportunities by designating stock allocations without impacting DTC availability.
- Process Optimisation: Constantly "audit" our current ways of working to find efficiencies, cost savings, and faster routes to market.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, or Demand Planning, ideally within a fast-growing DTC e‑commerce brand.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence in forecasting demand and making inventory decisions.
- Confident navigating Shopify and WMS platforms.
- Highly organised and proactive, comfortable working with minimal oversight.
- Within commutable distance of our Chelsea office and enjoy the collaborative energy of a hybrid team environment.
What Success Looks Like
- The business is consistently well stocked across all regions.
- Product launches and pop-up events run smoothly and on time.
- Inventory data across systems remains accurate and reliable.
- Quality issues and operational risks are identified early and resolved quickly.
- The Founder is no longer required to manage day‑to‑day operational execution.
